Job descriptionA day in your life with us:
- Ensure that the store is in safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and customers.
- Safeguard the store by regular patrolling and protect company assets.
- Ensure safety procedures are conformed to (store free of any hazards, fire exits are properly locked, security seals are intact, no obstruction at emergency exits, no smoking the store etc.).
- Ensure all store procedures are “secured”.
- You maintain high visibility presence to deter illegal actions such as shoplifting, theft and fights.
- You demonstrate the ability to analyze and observe signs of crime, fire or disorder.
- Ensure proper monitoring of CCTV system, cameras, access security system.
- You understand the store and your department action plans. You take responsibility for your department goals and know how you contribute.
- Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with your team to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.
- Any security breaches must be notified concerned authority and manager.
- Secure follow up and achievement of store KPI’s.
- Be aware of all security related emergency response and follow the policy and procedures.
- Adhere to IKEA supply chain and security policy, and report to concern manager in case of any identified security breaches.
QualificationQualifications
- Previous experience of working in Security.
- Self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Experience of creating and implementing plans, setting budgets and following up goals.
- Ability to solve problems or find new ways of working by identifying solution sources and/or ideas.
